Forest Explorers

What is Forest Explorers?

Our Forest School is a learner centred approach based on the Forest School Principles and the Curiosity Approach. It embraces your child’s freedom to explore, create and make choices, enabling them to learn at their own pace, letting them follow what  inspires them.

‘An engaged child creates a positive atmosphere, which encourages feelings of positive well-being.’

Intellectual, physical and emotional growth are an essential part of growing up. It is the foundation for your child to build the skills needed throughout life. At Forest Explorers we have the best environment to create opportunities for everything your child needs.

Based at the Deben Community Farm in Melton, we have a dedicated area with direct access to a private woodland, a purpose build hut, hens, guinea pigs, story telling circle, mud kitchen and access to all the natural resources your child could possibly need.
